FAQ

What is a Hall Effect (HE) keyboard?

A Hall Effect keyboard uses magnetic switches instead of traditional physical contacts. This allows for features like adjustable actuation points and Rapid Trigger, offering a faster, smoother, and more durable typing experience.

Will the wireless connection have lag or latency?

No. Our keyboards use a gaming-grade 2.4GHz wireless connection with an ultra-low latency (1ms) response time. For competitive gaming, it is indistinguishable from a wired connection.

What does "Tri-Mode Connection" mean?

It means the keyboard can connect in three ways:

  1. 2.4GHz Wireless: For high-performance, low-latency gaming.
  2. Bluetooth: For convenient connection to laptops, tablets, and other devices.
  3. USB-C Wired: For charging and a classic wired connection.
How long does the battery last?

Battery life varies depending on usage and RGB lighting settings. Typically, you can expect dozens of hours of use. You can also use the keyboard in wired mode while it's charging, so you'll never have downtime.

Are Hall Effect keyboards more durable?

Yes. Because they use a contact-free magnetic mechanism, there's significantly less wear and tear on the switch components. This leads to a much longer lifespan, often rated for 100 million keystrokes or more.

Do I need to install software to use the keyboard?

No, the keyboard works plug-and-play for all standard functions right out of the box. However, to access advanced features like remapping keys, setting custom actuation points, and adjusting Rapid Trigger sensitivity, our software is required.

Are the switches loud?

The sound of HE switches is generally smooth and clean ("thocky" or "clacky") because there is no metal leaf friction. The exact sound profile depends on the keyboard's construction, keycaps, and any internal dampening. They are typically not "clicky" unless designed to be.

Are HE keyboards only for gaming?

While their performance features are a massive benefit for gamers, the smooth feel and ability to customize actuation points also make them excellent for typing and productivity. You can set a deeper actuation point for a more comfortable and accurate typing experience.
